I recently started using watercolors as a way to decompress from long days. I found it as part of my evening wind down routine by exploring nature through the fluidity of the materials. Nature inspires me profoundly. I felt as if the day’s stresses melted away as I watched the water and pigment blend. Watercolors are unpredictable which pulls my focus into the present moment as a form of meditation.

This series is intimate and small which I find comforting. Each piece is colorfully matted in a solid oak frame measuring 8”x8”.
